Privacy on the Record
We collect as little reader information as the publication can responsibly avoid knowing.
Weather jurisdiction
If you set a city in the weather module, your browser sends the search to Open-Meteo’s geocoding service and requests conditions for the coordinates you select. Looney Bin News does not request your device location. The selected city record and a short-lived weather cache remain in your browser’s local storage so the forecast can be restored on later visits.
You can remove this information at any time by clearing site data for looneybinnews.com. Open-Meteo handles its own service logs under its terms and privacy information .
Audience measurement
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand page views and site performance. Cloudflare states that this product does not use cookies or local storage for measurement and does not track individual readers across customer websites. We do not use advertising pixels or sell reader information.
Infrastructure records
Cloudflare may process ordinary network and security information needed to deliver and protect the site. Looney Bin News has no reader accounts, comment system, subscription database, or advertising profile.
Contact
Email sent to the publication is forwarded to a private editorial inbox and retained as needed to answer the message, document a correction, or address a security report. Contact editor@looneybinnews.com for privacy questions or security@looneybinnews.com for responsible security reports.
